Baby it’s Cold Outside

With record cold temperatures across the United States today, I’m sitting in front of a roaring fire determined to keep my New Year’s resolution to blog more often. Winter seems to be an apt subject, so I’ll share some photos of winters past. All of these were taken around my house or within walking distance of my home. When it snows, I don’t need to go far to get photos. Hope you enjoy them.

Chappaqua, NY, USA - 10 February 2013 - A snow storm over the weekend dumped up to two feet of snow across suburban Westchester County New York, USA. Does this sound familiar? We'll be ice skating on this pond come Saturday. It's so lovely - can't wait! © 2013 Marianne A. Campolongo (Marianne A. Campolongo/© 2013 Marianne A. Campolongo)

I’m writing my blog in front of this fireplace right now. Stay warm.

I understand! This cold is more than even those of us in the Northeast care to see. It’s much nicer to have cold weather with a pretty snowfall than just cold and gray, though, IMHO. Glad you like the photos – thanks.
